Master Halco: Fence & Deck Supply, North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of fence and deck products, is seeking a Yard Associate at our branch office.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing order documents to accurately prepare products for customer orders.
  2. Loading and unloading trailers with a forklift (70%) and manually sorting and staging materials in the yard (30%).
  3. Safely operating a forklift.
  4. Maintaining a clean and organized yard stock.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Working inside the warehouse and outside in the yard
  • Loading trucks accurately for shipments
  • Receiving and storing inbound materials
  • Completing work orders and receiving documents accurately
  • Pulling and preparing orders for shipment
  • Rotating yard stock and moving materials safely with a forklift
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure branch success and excellent customer service

Qualifications:

  • Over 1 year of experience in warehouse or yard roles
  • Ability to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60 lbs)
  • Forklift experience (sit-down preferred)
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Experience with building materials is a plus
