Base pay range
A$37.00/hr - A$38.00/hr
The Position
We are currently seeking FEMALE Support Workers to assist an older male with paranoid psychosis. There are currently shifts available Wednesday and Friday 11am-3pm with opportunities for other work. You will be assisting with Community Access, Providing Companionship and building their capacity.

- Domestic Assistance: Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping.
- High-Level Personal Care: Assist with personal care, mobility, transfers, and use of specialized equipment.
- Respite Care: Provide relief to caregivers, allowing them time for rest or appointments.
- Social Support & Transportation: Facilitate social engagement and assist with community activities and appointments.
- Medication Monitoring: Prompt clients to take medication per their Care Plan.
- Compliance: Follow operational guidelines and reporting requirements.
- All other reasonable duties that may be included in a NDIS Support Woker Role.
- Care & Risk-Taking: Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and embracing opportunities for growth.
- Excellence & Accountability: Reliable, independent, and committed to delivering quality care.
- Physical Fitness & Initiative: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks and proactive in problem-solving.
- Safety & Innovation: Strong understanding of safe work practices with a focus on improving care.
- Cultural Sensitivity & Teamwork: Communicate effectively with diverse clients and work collaboratively with the team.
- Credibility & Service: Deliver evidence-based care with compassion and integrity.
- Cert 3 or above in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in disability or aged care.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and relevant checks (WWCC, NDIS screening, First Aid, CPR).
