We are partnering exclusively with one of the most prestigious law firms in the Asia-Pacific region to appoint a high-calibre Business Development Manager to support their high-performing Disputes practice.
This is a rare opportunity for an established BDM to step into a global brand with a reputation for excellence, sophistication, and scale. The role offers significant scope to influence client strategy, drive premium pursuits and help shape some of the region’s most high-stakes contentious matters.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and as part of an exceptional business development and client function, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the firm’s market-leading disputes team remains top of mind for major corporate clients across APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute BD and client strategies aligned to the Disputes group’s goals, with a focus on high-value litigation, class actions, regulatory and investigations work.
- Partner with senior lawyers to identify growth opportunities, prioritise pursuits, and enhance key client relationships.
- Lead strategy on complex bids and proposals, driving content strategy and best practice.
- Collaborate across teams, geographies and sector groups to elevate the firm’s disputes capability as a key differentiator.
- Analyse market and client intelligence to inform strategy and enable sharper decision-making.
About You:
- Proven experience in a BD Manager or Senior Executive role within a professional services environment.
- Deep understanding of litigation and disputes (or the confidence and commerciality to quickly grasp this area).
- Ability to work at pace, with credibility and influence at partner level.
- A strategic mindset combined with sharp execution skills and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable navigating complexity, ambiguity and high expectations in a global environment.
