ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our Industrial team based in Rockhampton, QLD.
This role involves driving sales growth by building and maintaining long-term business relationships with small to medium-sized businesses looking to sell or auction their transport, construction, earthmoving & agricultural equipment or machinery through Pickles. You will be responsible for the Central QLD Rockhampton Region and will:
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing relationships.
- Drive new business through cold calling and following up on leads to source trucks, machinery, and other stock for sale or auction.
- Conduct face-to-face and/or online meetings to sell solutions.
- Perform inspections and valuations of trucks and machinery.
- Collaborate with the branch and wider team on inspection and sale days.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed, you should have:
- Proven experience in sales and new business development.
- Knowledge of transport, construction, earthmoving & agricultural equipment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to use a CRM system to identify opportunities.
- Outstanding customer service, time management, and solutions-focused skills.
- High interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with other departments and sourcing assets within your region.
