Work Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology and/or Cath Lab 

 

Education:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field

Completion of an accredited Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program (preferred)

 

License:

California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License (if applicable)

 

Certifications:

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) (required)

ARRT Certification in Cardiac-Interventional (CI) or Vascular-Interventional (VI) (preferred)

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification 

DCI (Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography) and/or BVP (Basic Vascular Principles) Certification (preferred)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
