We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Underwriter to join a growing general insurance underwriting agency. As an Assistant Underwriter, you will play a key role in supporting the underwriting process, ensuring that risk assessments are accurate and thorough.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide underwriting support to senior underwriters across various general insurance products
- Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently
- Respond to broker queries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain strong relationships with key broker partners
- Ensure all documentation is compliant and adheres to internal underwriting guidelines
- Assist with portfolio analysis and reporting as required
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in an underwriting support role (liabilities or financial lines experience) or insurance administration is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
