We are offering a contract opportunity for a Project Support Officer to support a critical business transformation project. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, budget tracking, reporting, ensuring milestones are on track, managing go-live readiness, and owning the testing phase for each project wave.
How You Will Contribute
- Drive consistency and quality in project execution using appropriate project management methodologies and tools.
- Develop understanding of the product, business processes, and project milestones.
- Lead project status meetings, prepare notes, and follow up with stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues as needed.
- Create project reports, status updates, and weekly communications.
- Manage the budget tracker, flag risks and deviations proactively.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.
- Develop training materials and support change management initiatives.
- Own testing activities, ensure requirements are clear, support defect management.
What You Will Bring
- Experience in project management, familiarity with PM methodologies, MS Project, and DevOps is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and self-organization skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Basic technical understanding of products, processes, and milestones.
- Proactive risk identification and mitigation skills.
- Experience in FMCG, digital transformation projects, or HR/Payroll IT systems is a plus.
Additional Information
- This is a fixed-term role ending 24th Dec 2025, with potential extension.
- Location: Ringwood, with travel to other sites as needed.
- Part-time (4 days) options considered.
- No relocation support provided.
