About The Opportunity
- Outlier seeks talented writers fluent in English to help train generative AI models.
- This remote, reading and writing-intensive freelance role offers flexible hours, allowing you to work at your convenience.
Your Contributions May Include:
- Reading English texts to rank responses generated by AI models.
- Writing and rewriting prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking.
- Assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced texts.
Desired Expertise:
- Professional writing or editing experience.
- Enrolled in or completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in a writing-related field from a selective institution.
- Strong writing style, exceptional English spelling and grammar, and good reasoning skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to clearly evaluate texts.
Payment Details:
- US rates: $15 to $35 USD/hour.
- UK: up to £11 to £27 GBP/hour.
- Canada: up to $20 to $48 CAD/hour.
- Australia: up to $22 to $53 AUD/hour.
- New Zealand: up to $25 to $58 NZD/hour.
- Rates depend on expertise, location, and project specifics. Higher rates may be available for PhDs or additional incentives.
