As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Accounts Receivable and Collection Mangerto join our team. This role will be based in Sydney.

Position Overview:

The Accounts Receivable and Collections Manager will oversee the daily operations of the AR team, ensuring smooth and efficient collections processes while optimizing cash flow. This role will be responsible for managing customer payments, mitigating credit risk, handling dispute resolutions, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive continuous improvements in AR performance.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do:

• Oversee the end-to-end AR process, ensuring timely invoicing, payment collection, and reconciliation.
• Develop and implement collection strategies to minimize overdue balances and improve cash flow.
• Contact customers to understand payment issues and chase outstanding payments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer teams to optimize the RMA/returns and dispute claims process, ensuring efficient resolution, reduced processing time, and minimized AR impact.
• Act as a cross-functional leader, working with sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to resolve issues impacting AR performance.
• Provide collection forecasting for cash flow management, supporting financial planning and reporting.
• Manage and resolve customer disputes, negotiate payment plans, and implement proactive recovery measures.
• Ensure a smooth transition of the ERP system, supporting process optimization and data integrity.
• Drive DSO improvement initiatives, identifying areas to enhance collection efficiency and working capital management.
• Utilize Oracle Fusion ERP and reporting tools to track AR performance and provide financial insights.
• Lead and mentor the AR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and strong leadership.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Collections roles.
• Proven experience in managing and leading an offshore AR team in a complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of AR best practices, credit risk assessment, and cash flow management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred), Excel, and reporting tools.
• Proven track record of reducing overdue debt and improving collections efficiency.
• Strong expertise in DSO improvement and cash flow optimization.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle customer interactions
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with cross-functional teams.
