We are a dynamic and fast-growing group of education brands seeking a high-performing Paid Search Manager to lead our Google Ads and Bing Ads accounts in-house. The Role:

As the Senior Paid Search Manager, you will be responsible for strategy, execution, and optimisation of pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns with a primary focus on Google Ads. You will leverage your expertise to drive targeted traffic, maximise conversions, and achieve business goals across multiple brands in different global geographies. This role combines strategic leadership, analytical rigor, and technical proficiency to deliver world-class paid search performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage effective PPC campaigns across various platforms, with a primary focus on Google Ads
  • Leverage data driven insights to optimise campaigns, working with attribution models, conversion tracking, and custom dashboards to report on KPI’s
  • Think beyond the basics and bring creative solutions to continuously improve Google Ads and Bing performance
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify optimal audiences and targeting opportunities
  • Develop creative ad copy and optimise landing pages for maximum conversion rates
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve ROI and achieve business pipeline and revenue goals
  • Conduct regular A/B testing to continuously optimise campaigns and improve performance
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, PPC best practices, and emerging tools and technologies
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards using tools like Google Data Studio or Power BI, to provide actionable insights to the business

Skills and Experience

  • Proven Experience (must have): 3+ years of experience managing high-budget Google Ads and Bing Ads accounts with monthly spends exceeding AUD $200k delivering measurable results in lead generation and revenue growth.
  • Global Campaign Management: Demonstrated success managing PPC campaigns across multiple global geographies, with expertise in tailoring strategies to diverse markets and audiences.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Google Ads and Bing Ads platforms, including campaign setup, automated bidding strategies, and conversion tracking.
  • Analytics Expertise: Strong proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and reporting tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Power BI) to analyse performance and drive optimisations.
  • Conversion Tracking: Hands on experience and proficiency with conversion tracking setup, including offline conversions and server-side attribution tracking.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to leverage performance data to optimise campaigns, allocate budgets effectively, and improve ROAS.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and global sales teams to align on campaign goals and brand guidelines.
  • Highly Regarded (Not Essential): Experience with Google Search Ads 360 for managing large-scale, enterprise-level PPC campaigns.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications: Google Ads certifications (e.g., Search, Display, Video) and Bing Ads certification are highly desirable.
