Brisbane / APAC – Matilda / Full Time / Hybrid

We are looking for a Lead Android Developer to be part of our Mobile team in Australia.

What you’ll do as a Lead Android Developer:

  1. Deliver inspiring digital products that bring our customers’ visions to life
  2. Understand customer requirements and collaboratively design native mobile solutions
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary agile teams throughout the project lifecycle
  4. Provide expert advice for the design and development of robust and scalable native apps
  5. Develop, document, and test high-quality code
  6. Solve technical problems with our teams and customers
  7. Contribute estimates for Agile stories and epics
  8. Contribute to the ongoing development of our coding standards and processes
  9. Work on multiple projects, be actively involved, and feature-curious

What you’ll bring:

  1. Commercial experience developing native Android apps (ideally 3+ years)
  2. Experience working in a consulting environment
  3. Deep understanding of Material Design
  4. Java, RxJava
  5. Kotlin
  6. Gradle
  7. JUnit/Espresso
  8. Jira

Bonus points! Nice-to-have skills and experiences:

  1. Dagger
  2. Android Architecture Components
