Insignia is a leading national distributor of industrial labelling and coding equipment with over 50 years’ experience in the Australian packaging market. With multiple locations nationwide, insignia iswidely recognised as experts in identification and traceability, and work with world-leading brands in thermal printing, barcoding, data capture, marking & coding.
We seek aqualified Flexographic Printer to join our dedicated Label Converting department, based at our Brisbane Head Office in Wakerley. The hours for this position are Monday to Thursday (5:30 am to 4:00 pm).
About the role:
You will be responsible for producing high-quality custom-designed labels by operating flexographic presses in our climate-controlled press room. You will follow all processes safely and efficiently to ensure that all labels produced meet order and quality specifications and satisfy our customers’ requirements.
About you
- Certificate III in Printing.
- You will have previous experience in flexographic printing.
- Ideal candidates will have experience operating equipment such as Omet, Mark Andy, Rotoflex, Gallus, Nilpeter, and in-line turrets.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- You can work autonomously, be relied upon, and be a motivated team player.
- Previous experience in the Label industry would be highly regarded.
- Ability to work under pressure and to read and follow job ticket instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
