Provides, coordinates, and delegates nursing care, managing resources to restore and maintain health for patients, families, and communities.Formal Education RequiredBachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN).Applicants with an Associate’s degree will be considered but must obtain BSN within three years.Graduate of an accredited nursing program (CCNE or ACEN).Current RN license in Ohio.Experience and TrainingAt least one year recent experience in the practice area for PRN RNs.One year RN experience required for weekend positions.Additional experience or preparation may be required for specialty units.Skills, Competencies, and QualificationsFull range of physical motion, handling and lifting patients, manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Normal corrected vision and hearing.Ability to work under stress and irregular hours.Exposure to infectious and hazardous materials, risk of falls, strains.Current BLS certification; ACLS required within six months if applicable.Population-Specific CompetencyAdditional certifications (e.g., PALS, NIHSS) may be required for specialty areas.Ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations respecting their dignity and needs.Physical DemandsHeavy exertion, lifting 50-100 pounds occasionally, 25-50 pounds frequently, 10-20 pounds continuously.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.Salary Range: $33.00/hr - $52.00/hr, based on experience and location.
