The Team

The Role

We seek an enthusiastic individual to collaborate on delivering customer value in a fast-paced environment, building relationships and impacting the Payments industry. You will work with various business units, leveraging our technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and developers to understand user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Create test plans based on requirements, estimating resources and timelines.
  • Review test plans with stakeholders.
  • Write detailed test cases, scenarios, and feature files covering various testing types.
  • Execute manual tests to validate functionality and usability.
  • Identify and document defects using tools like Jira.
  • Track testing progress, maintain defect logs, and report on coverage and bug trends.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Cucumber and Citrus.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide QA insights.
  • Advise on automation strategies.
  • Explore new technologies to improve testing processes.
  • Mentor other QA team members.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in manual and automated testing.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Citrus, Cypress).
  • Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.
  • Experience with Gherkin and test automation.
  • Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and bug tracking systems.
  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and API testing skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Payments domain and Agile methodology is an asset.
  • Performance testing experience is a plus.
