Job Description

About your role:

We are expanding our team and would love to welcome an experienced and dynamic Speech Pathologist eager to make a difference and contribute to best practice. You’ll bring expertise, maturity and strong time management and organisational skills to the role.

Responsibilities will include:

Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
Collaborate with your multi-disciplinary peers across the region
Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life
Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

Current registration with SPA as a Speech Pathologist
Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
