Location: Melbourne (This is a hybrid position)
Salary: Up to $170,000
Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a skilled Grid Connection Engineer to work closely with the power system team and manage the connection process for OEM connection projects.
The role is ideal for someone eager to deepen their expertise in grid connection, playing a key part in managing activities, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Support managing AEMO and NSP grid connection processes for large renewable energy projects
- Assist with Connection Applications, ensuring compliance with AEMO and NSP requirements
- Collaborate with project teams to meet connection requirements and timelines
- Provide technical input on grid connection design and project milestones
- Maintain communication with stakeholders such as AEMO, network providers, and regulators
- Resolve grid connection issues during project execution
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years experience in power system studies or grid connection engineering, preferably within NEM, with solar farm and BESS experience valued
- Familiarity with AEMO processes, regulatory frameworks, and tools like PSSE, PSCAD, PowerFactory
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills
