Experienced Business Services Accountant - South Sydney

This lead firm based in St Georges/ South Sydney provides top-tier accounting and tax advisory services. A reputable boutique accounting firm, easily accessible via train, where you will work for knowledgeable Partners, who are long-standing Big 4 Accountants. Diverse role where you will get exposure to Tax Advisory or a variety of clients. This firm plans to double in size in the next 12 months.
Duties within the role:
- Tax planning, Tax Returns, and Payroll Tax Returns for group structures
- Working across all entities: companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
- Financials for all entities (companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals)
- Work on Division 7A loans, FBT, CGT
- Preparation of BAS/IAS for diverse clients
- Developing and building strong relationships with clients
- Mentor junior and intermediate accountants
Skills and personal attributes:
- Working towards your CA/ CPA or completed
- 3+ years of experience working as a Tax/ Business Services Accountant
- Must have excellent presentation skills and be able to communicate with clients, both personally and with tax-related queries
- Be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
- Experience with Handisoft, Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Reckon, and Microsoft applications
- Attention to detail
