About the role

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic health professionals to join our growing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Team. Yesability are experts in delivering PBS across the state. About us

We are an NDIS registered business that delivers Positive Behaviour Support to participants under their NDIS plan throughout Perth metro and parts of regional Western Australia. We are specifically looking for employees who wish to work in regional / remote Australia. This can also be a fly in fly out role.

Qualifications & experience

Relevant Qualification in an Allied Health background or Behavioral Science. Board certified behavior analyst or over 5 years experience in delivering Positive Behaviour Support / disability services. Demonstrated experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours is necessary. Working with Children’s card, National police clearance, and current driving license are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission, are essential.

Core: $90,000 - $100,000
Advanced: $100,000 - $125,000

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Complete indirect and direct assessments including observations and data collection and collate the data for the development of behaviour support plans and functional behavioural assessments.
  • Support NDIS participants with disabilities, their carers, family, and significant others.
  • Provide training and support in interventions and strategies outlined in the behaviour support plans, which may involve fade-out plans for restrictive practices.
  • Support the participant to meet their person-centered goals.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to lead a team and support other core practitioners.
