Underground Mining Engineer – 8:6 FIFO Roster
Join a highly regarded underground mining operation and contribute to production and development activities with a long-term focus. This is a great opportunity for a motivated Mining Engineer to grow their career in a supportive and safety-focused environment.
About the Role:
- FIFO from Perth on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster
- Underground gold mining project – narrow vein experience highly regarded
- Work closely with Senior Mining Engineers to support mine design, scheduling, and production activities
- Develop drill and blast designs and contribute to short-term planning
- Monitor day-to-day mining operations to ensure targets and quality standards are achieved
- Participate in ventilation surveys, cost reviews, and project work as required
- Focus on maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance
About You:
Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering (or related discipline)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in underground mining operations
- Exposure to narrow vein mining environments highly desirable
- Strong skills in mine planning software Deswik
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety
- Current WA C Class driver's license
