Objectives of a Financial Standard Journalist
- Maintain and grow our reputation for excellence in news coverage and research.
- Assist in generating content for Financial Standard, including online, print, video, and podcasts.
- Participate in improving the Financial Standard editorial offerings and support related group activities.
- Act as an ambassador for Financial Standard, enhancing the company’s reputation and brand.
Responsibilities
- Generate two to four articles daily for online and print editions.
- Write in-depth and investigative feature articles and profiles.
- Oversee the production of journals and podcasts.
- Attend media conferences and industry events as directed.
- Raise the profile of Financial Standard.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, media studies, finance, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of experience in financial journalism, preferably digital media; print experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong networking abilities.
- Ability to maintain ethical and objective reporting standards.
- Strong idea generation and fact-checking skills.
- Interest in financial services and understanding of its societal impact.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of responsible investing and corporate sustainability is advantageous.
