Offshore Virtual Assistants (OVA) is a well-respected outsourcing company based in Australia and is looking for a Virtual Audiology Assistant for our client, a leading audiology practice in Western Australia.
This is a unique opportunity for a qualified Audiologist to work remotely, supporting a busy audiology clinic by handling key administrative and clinical support tasks, and supporting the CEO. The ideal candidate will have a background in audiology, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills. By leveraging their industry expertise, the Virtual Audiology Assistant will help streamline clinic operations and improve overall efficiency.
Location: Home Based
Duration: Part-time 20 hours or Full Time 40 hours
Core hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (AWST) on weekdays, with potential for full-time work.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities
- Appointment Support: Listen in on patient consultations and accurately document clinical notes.
- Product Orders & Quotes: Order hearing aids and accessories via manufacturer portals, generate quotes, and process related paperwork.
- Medical Report Writing: Prepare professional reports for referring doctors based on consultation findings.
- Patient Communication: Draft and send patient handouts, PDFs, and follow-up emails.
- Government & Insurance Forms: Complete and submit Medicare and other government department paperwork related to audiology services.
- Clinical audits: of the principal audiologist employees.
- Data Entry: Audiological data entry and analysis.
Experience/Skills required
- Qualified Audiologist with relevant training and experience.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Proven management skills as an executive PA.
- Degree in relevant specialisations.
- Strong understanding of audiology terminology, patient care, and hearing aid technology.

Tools and Software
- Proficient in One Drive and Microsoft suite of software.
- PDF report conversion, splitting and merging.
- Project management software experience to manage tasks.
- CRM management HearAid CRM moving to Auditdata Manage.
- Experience with audiology practice management software (preferred).
- Xero experience is an advantage.
Work from home with a stable internet connection.
