Betashares Direct is a retail wealth platform designed and operated by Betashares to help customers build and improve long-term wealth creation. Betashares is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional to join the Betashares Direct operations team as an Investment Operations Analyst.

In this role, you will work closely with other members of the team (and broader business) and report into the Investment Operations Manager for Betashares Direct. Your core responsibility will be to learn and provide support across all aspects of operations. You’ll play an integral role in bringing our strategy to life.


Key Responsibilities

Betashares Direct operations team is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the platform which includes a wide range of functions. You will be primarily responsible for the following areas:

  • Custody and cash processing.
  • Corporate action processing.
  • Oversight of daily/monthly checks & reconciliations.
  • Trading & execution processing.
  • Support Betashares AML transaction monitoring activities.
  • Tax & Financial Accounts preparation for the scheme and its customers.
  • Generation of Betashares Direct regulatory reporting.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Curiosity to learn with a proactive attitude and ambition to progress your career.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to think in a structured and analytical manner.
  • 3+ years’ experience in an Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or other relevant discipline.
  • Genuine interest in financial markets and good understanding of investment products is essential.
  • Curiosity to explore and adopt technology to improve process efficiency and reduce risk (experience in SQL, Python is desirable).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
