About the role:
WA Country Health Service (WACHS) are seeking experienced Health Service Medical Practitioners, General Practitioners or Rural Generalists registered with either the Royal Australian College of General Practice (RACGP) or the Australian College Regional Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) with skills in Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics, Anaesthetics, Surgery and/or General Medicine.
Rural Generalists are General practitioners who have expertise providing medical care for rural and remote or isolated communities. They respond to diverse needs of rural communities, applying population approach, primary care, secondary and emergency care, culturally engaged Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ health care and providing specialised medical care in at least one additional discipline.

Joining the Generalist pool means submitting one application to be considered for multiple positions across WA Country Health Service (WACHS) throughout its validity period. You can specify your preferred locations and availability with your application. Applications submitted via the Pool will be reviewed monthly, and our team will reach out to discuss opportunities tailored to you. Appointments from this pool are available until 30/08/2027.

Remuneration:
The advertised salary range is based on classifications under the WA Health System – Medical Practitioners - AMA Industrial Agreement 2022.
