Our client, a global Fortune 1000 company has an opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Manager at their location in the Indianapolis area (relocation will be provided.)

This job is open due to an internal transfer.  Fantastic major company benefits are included as well as a 401K with a 100% match to 6% and then the company will contribute an additional 3%.  There is 15% bonus potential and 168 hours of PTO (monthly accrual that can be used ahead).  Relocation nationally is also associated with this role.  In this capacity will partner with their team where everyone, every day, learns and improves something, delivering World Class sustainable performance. 

The Continuous Improvement Manager will

  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in the company performance system best practices.
  • Guide the company performance system roll-out and lead the cultural shift to managing through pillars.
  • Coordinate and support plant pillar and platform leads (5S, Safety, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, and more).
  • Engage all associates through hands-on mentoring and audits.
  • Monitor Sprint Plan timeline and engage pillar leads and plant leadership to ensure successful completion.
  • Lead the Reliability Improvement Plans (RIP); establish action plans and schedule follow-up meetings.
  • Coach teams in giving and receiving feedback, root cause analysis, trade-off analysis, interpersonal communications and external interactions.
  • Work with the Operations teams to create an Autonomous Maintenance work culture and run to centerline.

Required:

  • Degree
  • 5+ years of plant manufacturing experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Continuous Improvement environment – TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and related process improvement systems.
  • 5+ years' experience mentoring teams and individuals
  • 5+ years' experience with root-cause analysis, data collection, and using TPM/ company performance system concepts such as "Why, Why/ How, How", Phenomena Thinking.
