Our next Full-Time Maintenance Technician will be responsible to perform basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards. Following standards operating procedures, installs inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems. Being a facility technician, you will assist with miscellaneous facility projects, including managing irrigation systems, maintaining grow room systems, basic grounds maintenance and oversight and working with outside vendors to complete projects on site. You will be expected to utilize a work order system to log activities as required.

To Be Blunt

You will be challenged to work tactically to ensure complete and on time execution of daily/monthly tasks.

One minute you will be inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.

The next minute you will be repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures as needed.

And the next minute conducting periodic quality checks of equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard and maintaining HVAC system maintenance and preventative maintenance.

Regardless of the task, it’s critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you’ll work within a diverse team in the organization.

Where you’ll be planted

This position will be on-site at our Waterfall, PA facility.

To be blunt, this role will be about:
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
  • Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures as needed.
  • Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
  • HVAC system maintenance and preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct periodic quality checks of equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
  • Coordinate Monthly PM tasks with Facility Manager.
  • Maintain a PM program throughout facilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.
What we're high value diverse skillsets, talents, and experiences. To be successful in this role we know you’ll need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Aerial Lift and Fork Lift certifications are a plus
  • HVAC or Plumbing certifications and/or licensing are a plus
  • Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
  • Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
