The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace.  The team provides customers with amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and Bell Home phone, local and long distance services.


Content Product Manager - Multiplatform Rights responsibilities include maintaining Bell’s multiplatform content rights databases and ensuring that rights are in place to support the launch of new features, functionalities, and platforms.  This individual must have a working knowledge of the Regulatory environment, rights management experience, and a background in project management.



  • Work with Deal Primes on the Content team to ensure that necessary rights have been secured to deploy various features and functionalities
  • Maintain multiplatform rights database to ensure rights are accurately tracked
  • Work closely with Product team to identify rights requirements for roadmapped features and functionality
  • Develop subject area expertise in multi-platform distribution regulations
  • Support contract negotiation efforts by identifying rights, features and functionality, devices, DRM, etc. relevant to Bell’s current and upcoming product offerings
  • Contribute to the development and management of network content-based linear and on demand products for television and other platforms
  • Organize and partner with internal stakeholders and network associates to launch the Restart functionality on both the Fibe TV and Fibre Op platforms. Maintain communication of schedules, and launch new channels within this product when we receive the rights.
  • Liaise with content providers to obtain and develop TV Everywhere schedules.  Communicate those schedules to Broadcast Operations and troubleshoot interruptions to workflow as well as EPG blackout management.
  • Work between Broadcast Ops and channel providers in order to develop new systems and strategies for receiving and implementing blackout and restart schedules, including developing an automation process for both channels providers and operations. Manage multiplatform blackouts where applicable. 
  • Collect and submit channel logos, channel descriptions and other materials for use in TV Everywhere deployment.
  • Create and maintain artwork and images to feature the best content available for customers on the apps.
  • Ensure resolution of all network content-based queries and concerns.  Escalate where necessary.
  • Lead or actively participate in network content and cross-functional, cross-team meetings



  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Film and Television, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a product management or digital environment
  • High level of computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Media experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the Canadian television landscape and regulatory environment is an asset
  • Positive attitude, resourceful and takes initiative in executional elements of processes




Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
