JOB DESCRIPTION

- Be the assortment planner and owner of all fonts for personalization. Strategically merchandise fonts and ideas to drive sales within personalization (PZ).

* Sculpt strategic font application based on technique, product substrate, consumer profile. Use reporting analytics so PZ drives sales.
* Analyze personalization data to make recommendations weekly; includes best selling fonts and worst selling fonts.

* Communicate recommendations based on knowledge and current sales patterns.
* Make changes to live PZ settings to further drive sales
* Make recommendations for discontinuing and adding font styles across product to further drive the business and further make our sales goals.
* Continue to build muscles by looking at competitive analysis, new personalization opportunities, new font opportunities, and analyzing sales and returns.
* Assign all font, technique, and font size to all products.
* Have a point of view and strategy behind applications of monograms and personalization

- Own and ensure flawless execution of personalization on products.

* Maintain the spec process that is delivered to the DC.
* Own SKU spec and deliver to the DC which includes font options, PZ technique, location, size and scale.
* Create Audit process to ensure the DC is properly set-up for all new SKU's before the go live date.
* Create new process where needed to ensure accurate set-up. Test all colors available, finding out limitation early on, testing new techniques and making recommendation on what will merchandise the best.
* DC liaison for all personalization execution; hold DC accountable for new processes built.
* Work in Web Content Management System (WCM) and facilitate all personalization operations.

- Ensure the personalization that the customer sees is available and accurate. This will be done through checking against both the website and catalog, ensuring all marketed personalization is available to the customer.

- Be the business leader of merchant operations & process improvement. Work towards damage and return rate decreases with DC communications and trend spotting.

* Includes monitoring & improving spec process for personalization, new PZ Quality assurance, any DC sampling enhancements, new machinery/techniques
* Identify opportunity and develop action plans to drive improvement.
* Research return issues and provide solutions to lower return rate.

- Assist Buyer with Merchandising Assortment & Assortment planning

* Create visual boards by department to help merchandising assortment planning
* Train the call center & copy editor on new product each season
* Analyze market & Provide observations of market to Buyer for market analyses.
* Analyze sales trends for recommendations on assortment purchases and pricing strategies.
* Manage drop ship vendor relationships

- Prepare documentation for key milestone meetings, i.e. CEO reviews, quarterly financial roll ups, and VP presentations

* Work directly with executives at corporate including Director of PZ, VP of brand, EVP of the brand on PZ Operations and opportunities

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* BA/BS required.
* Previous experience in merchandising.
* Advanced Excel skills; Quark 6.1 and Adobe knowledge desirable.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast pace, often-changing environment required.
