Position Summary

Responsible for partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Sales Operations, Marketing to analyze, model, design, implement, administer, and communicate well-aligned sales compensation programs for the CDK. Act as the sales compensation consultant to make strong, data driven recommendations and influence sales compensation decision-making within the sales organization. Works with marketing to evaluate and design appropriate sales campaigns and contests.

 

 

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

 

  • Works with sales leaders to understand the annual product and sales strategies
  • Model and develop recommendations for sales incentive and commission plans
  • Works with Sales operations to administer and communicate sales incentive plans
  • In partnership with the HRBP, help resolve sales incentive related issues
  • Keep abreast of incentive trends and best practice
  • Provide data analysis and administration of monthly sales incentive advances
  • Partner with outside vendors and consultants to conduct competitive reviews
  • Provides management and field sales teams with monthly/quarterly results information, including ranking reports and quarterly estimates of cost liability to finance
  • Designs, develops, and implements field based contests in support of base annual sales incentive plans
  • Provides management with information required for decision-making related to bonus design and outcomes
  • Develops, coordinates, implements and enforces planning and reporting calendars and processes with internal and external clients
  • Provides continuous client support and responds to bonus-related questions from internal and external clients

Qualifications & Job Requirements

 

  • 7 years of sales incentive design and administration experience
  • Bachelor degree in business or equivalent four year degree
  • Proven modeling and analysis skills. Able to analyze data and communicate the summary of the results, both verbally & written, in a clear and concise way.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills. Experience with identifying process improvement opportunities and working in a cross-functional environment to roll out changes
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills including strong proficiency with Powerpoint.
  • Strong attention to detail. Committed to data quality and high standard for accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience interfacing with sales and strong ability to partner across the organization to drive decisions and change.
