This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting the new Montefiore Institute for Performance Improvement (MIPI) as well as providing direct administrative support for the Assistant Vice President for Montefiore Network Performance Improvement and the Director of the Institute (MIPI).  (The Institute will be responsible for providing an in-depth performance improvement training program for Montefiore associates/leadership across the entire Montefiore Health System.)  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and maintaining reports for the portfolio of improvement projects within the Institute, processing and registering course applicants, monitoring completion of project milestones and course assignments, maintaining project/course communications to all course trainees from the Institute, and scheduling lecture sites across the medical campuses. . This is a Grant funded position.


Education and Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's preferred. Five years of work experience required. Strong computer skills and knowledge of software applications.  Candidate must be proficient with all necessary Microsoft Office programs in order to maintain and organize the performance improvement training course as well as support for the Institute for Performance Improvement (MIPI).  This includes an in-depth understanding and application of Excel (developing and updating graphs, tables, charts, pivot tables, etc.), PowerPoint (assist in developing and editing departmental presentations, course lectures, project demonstrations), and Visio (creating and revising process flow maps, decision algorithms, and care delivery pathways).  Candidate must understand how to present clinical outcomes data for health care delivery systems with an emphasis on measurable clinical metrics
