About this role

An opportunity for a senior buyer to exercise advanced Capital Equipment purchasing skills, teamwork, problem solving and enhance their knowledge of the overall supply chain in a medical device manufacturing environment.



Responsible for inventory management, purchase order management and logistics. Supplier relationship maintenance.  Insure departmental ISO compliance.  Actively support corporate supplier initiatives and cost saving programs.


Your  Responsibilities

  • Fully support the Quality Policy by building quality into all aspects of the incumbent's work and by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements (including but not limited to being current on all training requirements for the incumbent's position and documenting that training).
  • Plans, conducts, and coordinates senior level assignments and projects.
  • Purchase materials from qualified, approved suppliers in support of requirements/MRP.
  • Identify and process change orders (reschedules, increases, etc) to the purchase orders to align deliverables to new requirements.
  • Attend appropriate meetings to support internal customers and management.
  • Maintain documentation (files and database) in full compliance with customer and government specifications/regulations.
  • Inventory management
  • Materials Standard cost set up and PPV prevention
  • Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree on Business Management, Industrial Engineering or related
  • 5+ years of Purchasing work experience
  • ERP Experience (SAP preferred)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management
  • Medical Device Mfg. Experience
