ENCQOR Program Manager Ottawa

Job Summary:

We are searching for a Program Manager to advance Ericsson technology leadership by implementing and leading the ENCQOR (Evolution of Networked Services through a Corridor in Quebec and Ontario for Research and Innovation) Program activities for Ottawa.  ENCQOR will enable open access to a pioneering 5G infrastructure for researchers, students, startups, small and medium enterprises, and other companies across the country.  Using your technical, business, and innovation skills, you will drive the program activities for Ericsson Ottawa.  You will be a single point of contact for the Ottawa site for R&D work, integration test activities, co-development with academia and enterprises and engagement with external customers and partners. You will be responsible for fullfilling the Ottawa commitments to the program and working closely with the overall Ericsson program manager to ensure all Ottawa deliverables are met for the program.  As part of the implementation of the project for Ericsson you will establish the project scope, quality, timelines and budget.  As an Ericsson leader, you will teach, coach, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations. You will foster an innovative and learning culture.



  • Single point of contact for all Ottawa research and development work and integration test activities for 5G networks and core technology for the ENCQOR project
  • Work with the Canadian Customer Unit to provide and align the Ottawa expertise for implementing the ENCQOR Test Corridor
  • Government and partner relations

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Computer Science/Engineering and/or business degree, MBA preferred
  • Min 5 years experience
  • Specialized level of knowledge of 5G solutions, radio systems, networking, business development
  • Widely recognized knowledge of the Ericsson organization and its innovation processes
  • Customer insight/previous customer experience
  • Business knowledge and understanding
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid Project and Program Management Skills
  • Ability to formulate strategies and concepts
  • Coaching & Mentoring Skills


Additional Requirements:

  • Bilingual, English and French would be an asset
