Business Systems Analyst

Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst role is to maintain the business ERP system including incident and service request support along with SSRS report changes and new development.  Duties include gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This includes project management, task management, requirements gathering, analysis, documentation and other full life cycle support.  This position will focus on Infor10 ERP based applications used by various facets of the business.

 Responsibilities:

  • Translating user and/or system requirements into functional technical specification.
  • Perform customizations to ERP forms and reports using structured programming techniques as well as documentation all changes.
  • Support the implementation of an ERP system and all associated software packages consistent with the needs of a growing business.
  • Document all changes according to proper SDLC standards.
  • Provide end-user support on the ERP and associated software packages.
  • Work with business teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities to the existing business practices, processes and tools.
  • Train employees and assist or undertake the writing of instructional procedures, user guides and systems documentation as needed.
  • Create or modify SSRS reports.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college; and 1-3 years related experience and/or training.

  •  Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Experience with INFOR Syteline ERP (preferred) or other comparable ERP System.
  • 15% - 25% travel required.
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Strong ability to analyze software problems and development technical solutions.

  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.
  • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
