Shift: Every Weekend

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be willing and able to work every weekend
  • Successful completion of a current Level 2 background screening and drug test.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • Operates the switchboard for the Veterans’ Domiciliary Home of Florida.
  • Routes calls and takes messages for staff and insures they are relayed in a timely manner. 
  • Routes calls for residents to the proper room phone, takes messages for residents and insures they are relayed in a timely manner.
  • Insure that all official visitors and resident visitors are courteously greeted, directed properly to their destination as to general nature of their business after locating staff/resident being visited without verifiable complaint. Insure compliance with the visitors’ administrative policy.
  • Help with donation process.
  • Put up resident mail.
  • Assist residents with questions and helps residents to make calls using the lobby phone.
  • Clean front lobby spills if housekeeping is unavailable.
  • Coordinate with bus drivers for resident pick up from various places in the community.

 Note: you will be required to provide your Social Security number in order to conduct the background screening.
