Your Role  

In this multi-craft role, the Maintenance Technician will perform a wide variety of work to ensure that the distribution center equipment and facilities are maintained and in a safe and effective working condition. This position is multi-faceted with skilled and semi-skilled maintenance responsibilities including material handling equipment troubleshooting and repair and more basic maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting. While Maintenance Technicians may have developed skills in one or more areas, all are expected to perform general facilities and repair.

Your Impact  

  • Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities including performing material handling equipment troubleshooting and repair; basic activities such as electrical, plumbing, drywall and painting; office furniture moves and setups.  
  • Maintains building, equipment, shop and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition.  
  • Completes work orders for work performed and includes parts and inventory used.  
  • Document all work order activities to comply with CMMS requirements, providing documented records of the activities performed.   

Your Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM- 6:30 PM

Your Experience  

  • Possession of a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) 
  • Minimum of 3 years of facilities and/or maintenance experience such as forklifts, conveyors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics and building maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Valid Driver’s License 
  • Electrical experience with high and low voltage, AC and DC.  
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.  
  • Proven track record of strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. 
  • Effectiveness in working within a team/matrix organization  
  • Flexibility with work assignment and schedules based on business requirements which may result in overtime.
