The Operational Resilience, Readiness and Response team at Sky are the guardians of continuity, the architects of readiness, and the first responders in times of uncertainty. Our mission is clear: to ensure that our organisation stands unwavering in the face of adversity. From meticulously crafting resilience strategies to conducting rigorous simulations and training exercises, we are a source of expert advice and support for the organisation. all-encompassing readiness team. Working closely with senior internal and external stakeholders, we provide analysis, insight, training and solutions that help to keep people, assets and sites safe and operational across the Sky family.


What you'll do:

  • Acting as trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and support to senior leadership and business areas across the Group during live crises and in the development of their incident to crisis management capability

  • Help shape and lead elements of a best-in-class Readiness and Response function.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and support to senior leadership and business areas across the Group during live crises and in the development of their incident to crisis management capability.

  • Own and be accountable for maintaining a strong, robust and well-designed, Group-wide control environment, working with Market resilience leads to ensure compliance.

  • Lead the development and implementation of crisis management and emergency response strategies, policies, and procedures to prepare the organisation for potential adversity.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish crisis management teams, roles, and responsibilities.

  • Design, facilitate and deliver crisis management training programs to ensure organisational readiness and response effectiveness.


What you'll bring:

  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to interface at all levels; confident, capable and credible in front of senior partners.

  • You have an excellent understanding of how resilience enables an organisation and can demonstrate the value it adds.

  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to communicate at the strategic through to the operational levels of the business.

  • Strong problem solver, able to analyse and understand issues, problems or challenges and develop solutions to them.

  • Has the proven ability to think outside of the box, challenge industry norms and adapt quickly to evolving requirements.

  • Proven ability to innovate in the design of processes and solutions to deliver specific outcomes across all areas of operational resilience.
