Specialist Clinician- Infectious Diseases and General MedicineDate published:Apr 8, 2024, 14:01 PM Location Darwin and Palmerston, NT Description Staff Specialist Clinician SMO1.1 - SMO1.6 - Remuneration Package $240,445 - $293,843 (including salary $207,165 - $253,495) Senior Staff Specialist Clinician SMO2.1 - SMO2.3 - Remuneration Package $303,839 - $335,923 (including salary $262,168 - $290,005) To provide high quality Infectious Diseases and General Medicine specialist care through participation in: inpatients, outpatients and Hospital in the Home clinical services at Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospital (RDPH). Supervision and teaching of junior staff, continuous quality improvement activities and active involvement in departmental professional development opportunities is an integral part of this role. In addition to clinical service this position will have a specific role providing medical governance support to the Hospital in the Home service and contributing to service and guideline development For a copy of the Job Description or to view career opportunities in the Northern Territory Government please visit  Appropriate specialist qualifications including Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, or equivalent, with sub specialty training in Infectious Diseases. Completed not less than the equivalent of six years of full-time service in medical practice as a staff specialist.
