About the Role:
The primary role and responsibility of the Instrument Technician is to ensure the effective and efficient processing of all reusable medical devices within the policy and guidelines of the Sterile Processing Centre and State and National Standards. Checking RMDs and setting of instrument trays

Ensures resources, equipment and processes checked, tested and maintained
Accurate and complete documentation as per operational requirements
Identify, troubleshoot and report variances
The classification range for these positions will be IN1 - IN4 ($54,844.40 - $68,486.60 per annum, pro rata for part time). Or, casual hourly rate ($27.75 - $34.65) plus 25% loading.

The Sterile Processing Centre, as part of St Vincent’s Perioperative Services provides a critical service enabling and supporting the functioning of St Vincent’s operating theatres & endoscopy suite. The department operates 24 hours a day and 52 weeks of the year.
