With a focus on social justice and a commitment to making a meaningful impact, Uniting works towards building a better, more inclusive society.Uniting is seeking an experienced Revenue and Receivables Manager for an 18 month contract role based in Parramatta CBD .The successful candidate will lead the Revenue and Receivables team, managing deliverables such as accurate accounting for Accounts Receivable transactions, billing for clients and government claims, and preparation of reports for Management & Prudential compliance.Responsibilities:Effectively lead the Revenue and Receivables teamAct as a Subject Matter Expert for impacted processes and systems in projectsManage BAU system issues, liaising with IT on changes impacting the teamIdentify and drive process efficiencies and system improvement opportunitiesEnsure accurate accounting for all Accounts Receivable transactionsManage team’s month-end activities and deliverables in line with policies and proceduresReview and distribute Month-End reports to Finance & Business teamsProvide accurate and timely data for Regulatory Reporting (Prudential, Stuart Brown, QFR reporting)Qualifications:CA or CPA qualified preferredBachelor qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experienceSkills and Experience:Experience with complex billing and highly developed Accounts Receivables experienceMinimum 6 years’ experience managing a large team in a complex, high-volume environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulationsStrong analytical and numerate abilitiesTenacity to drive revenue maximisationAttention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationProven leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively with Government departments, clients, service streams, staff, and other support functionsExcellent skills in ERP software and analytical tools, including ExcelExperience in consumer-oriented shared service environments managing large volumes & high complexity of transactionsAbility to identify and assist in the implementation of system and process improvementsEven Better:Excellent knowledge of Aged Care funding and reporting requirementsExperience in a highly regulated environmentPD - Revenue and Receivables Manager.docxHow to apply: Please send your CV and cover letter -- Act now, as we review applications promptly, and your next chapter could start sooner than you think!For all enquiries please email Louise Massie we offer you:Benefits of working at UnitingA rewarding career with a leading human services organisation.Competitive remuneration to $18,550 NFP salary packaging available, allowing you to pay less tax.Access to Fitness Passport!
