Job Description

This is an exciting time to join Visa's U.S. Marketing Services team, as we strengthen our focus on deepening relationships with established Issuer and Merchant Clients and launch Visa products with partners in Fintech.

The U.S. Marketing Services team, part of the overall North America Marketing organization, is transforming how we partner with clients to drive engagement, through a proactive and results driven marketing approach. As part of the U.S. Marketing Services team, the Marketing Analyst, U.S. Client Marketing will support the development and execution of client programs that optimize the use of Visa marketing platforms/initiatives.


This Analyst is responsible for supporting the partnership with Visa’s Merchant Clients while simultaneously building best-in-class co-marketing plans that support business goals for both Visa and its clients. This position fills a key role in our expanded focus on client marketing efforts.

The Analyst is expected to excel in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment. This individual should be results-driven, adaptable, and maintain a positive, proactive mindset. It is essential that the Analyst has a proven history of effective teamwork with both internal colleagues and external clients.

The Analyst must be meticulous and considerate when generating client materials, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. The ability to communicate directly with clients through weekly conference calls, video conferences, or potential in-person meetings is also required.

Furthermore, the Analyst will be responsible for vital administrative tasks on various platforms, such as managing budgets, submitting intake forms, and conducting financial reporting.


Essential Functions

This Analyst will be required to:

  • Support the sell-in and execution of B2B and/or B2C marketing programs for clients by coordinating the activities of internal Visa cross-functional teams and external agency partners

  • Manage agency partners during client program development, including routing materials for review and securing stakeholder approvals

  • Provide project management support for client marketing programs, including running weekly client status calls, drafting agendas and call notes, leading creative development process with the agency, routing materials for necessary approvals, managing post campaign tracking and analytics

  • Assist with business development, including compilation of proposals

  • Work cross-functionally to maintain clear communications and secure internal stakeholder alignment and approvals

  • Participate in ideation and development of custom marketing programs across Visa platforms and sponsorship assets

  • Develop and route legal agreements

  • Develop purchase order creation and management

  • Manage project timelines and budgets

  • Track and manage results of multiple ongoing projects

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Strong strategic thinker and problem solver focused on results who approaches any challenge with thoughtfulness, drive and appropriate urgency
• Executive presence and ability to present and represent Visa both internally and with clients
• Collaborative and “hands-on” teammate who builds strong relationships internally and externally, and works well under pressure, thriving under tight deadlines
• Uses good judgment and communicates up, down and across effectively
• A real passion for project management and attention to detail
• An interest in researching, analyzing trends and interpreting data to uncover insights
• Work experience that closely related to marketing and project management
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Prior experience coordinating cross functional, end-to-end projects that included a high level of detail
• Team player who is able to work on multi-part projects across teams and able to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met
• Ability and initiative to self-manage and prioritize when necessary and ability to multitask to support multiple efforts as needed
• Experience running meetings with internal and external customers and users
• Positive relationship management skills and ability to influence decision makers both internally and externally
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Client-facing experience a plus
• Digital marketing experience a plus

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 113,700.00 to 160,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
