Interventional Cardiovascular (Pre-Op) Admission & Recovery (ICAR) is seeking a full time Registered Nurse. We are located on the ground floor of the Inova Schar Heart & Vascular Center – Fairfax Medical Campus. This is a fast paced, team-oriented unit with an emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration. Many opportunities for growth and involvement in the unit and hospital initiatives.

*Job Responsibilities:*
* Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care of outpatient and inpatient populations
* Electrophysiology procedures- pacemaker/ICD placement, Micra pacemaker, ablations-VT, SVT, A-Fib, A-Flutter, Watchman
* Cardiac catheterization procedures- left and right heart caths, heart biopsies, ASD/PFO closures, carotid stents
* Interventional Radiology procedures- angiograms, chemoembolization, IVS filter, Mediports, thrombolysis, venograms, G/J tube placements, nephrostomy and biliary tubes
*Additional Requirements:*
* *Work schedule: *3 x 12-hour night shifts; *must be available to work all of the following shifts to include Days, Evenings, Nights: 6am-6pm, 7am-7pm, 10am-10pm, 11am-11pm, 7pm-7am (minimal nights and weekend requirements).*
* *Education: *BSN or ADN _(If ADN: must complete/obtain BSN within 24 months of start date)_
* *Experience:* Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting is required (prefer stepdown or cardiac experience)
* *Certification: *BLS from the American Heart Association & VA RN license
* Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
* Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others
* Proficient computer skills required
