Team Overview:

The OTC Derivatives Lifecycle and Valuations team, an essential component of BNY Mellon's Asset Servicing Division, offers expert lifecycle, valuations, pricing, and analytics for OTC Derivatives to our diverse and prestigious clientele. As we continue to expand, we seek an Analyst to join our team in Lake Mary, FL.

The Analyst role is integral to the daily execution of our lifecycle and valuation services. This position is designed for a professional who takes ownership of their work, drives process improvements, and thrives on the accuracy and precision of detailed analytical tasks.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Task Management and Ownership: Perform a wide array of lifecycle and valuation-related tasks with precision and ownership, ensuring accurate trade capture, daily lifecycle management, accounting, pricing, analysis, and reporting for OTC Derivatives.
  • Process Efficiency: Contribute to streamlining valuation processes, aiming for increased efficiency and effectiveness in our daily operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the proper execution of all tasks related to the lifecycle of OTC Derivatives within various accounting systems, upholding the highest standards of data integrity and compliance.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Utilize your strong analytical skills to provide insights and explanations for lifecycle changes, price movements, contributing to our comprehensive valuation analysis.
  • Client Service Support: Engage in client onboarding and ongoing service initiatives, ensuring that client queries are addressed with accuracy and efficiency, reflecting our commitment to superior service.

Candidate Profile:

  • A proactive individual dedicated to process perfection and operational excellence.
  • Someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in the quality of their work.
  • A team player who is eager to learn and grow within the OTC Derivatives space.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in financial services, preferably in OTC Derivatives or complex securities valuations.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and an eagerness to embrace and leverage new technological tools and process automation platforms (Alteryx, Power Automate, PowerBI etc.)
