Job Title:         Literacy Lead

Location:         Bramfield House School, Halesworth

Salary:            Up to £45,000 per annum

Hours:             40 hours per week, Monday to Friday  

Contract:         Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Literacy Lead to join our close-knit team at Bramfield House School located in _Halesworth.

About the role

You will be delivering inclusive, responsive, and innovative teaching and learning within the curriculum area of English and Literacy.  You will constantly strive to produce outstanding/good teaching and learning, at all times, to ensure that all learners succeed.  Under the reasonable direction of the Head teacher and Senior Leadership Team, carry out the professional duties of a school Teacher as set out in the current School policies.

You will be leading literacy across the school and the strategy around reading, writing and oracy across all the key stages and you will be instrumental in the development of a literacy culture 
at Bramfield House School. 

You will have responsibility for the strategy within the school to improve literacy, including the monitoring and strategy of exam boards used and qualifications attained. This includes both entry level and GCSE pathways. You will have strategic oversight of all interventions and schemes being used for Literacy development including the monitoring of the impact to ensure they are implemented effectively.
