We have a full-time entry level position for an Electronic Equipment Support Technician with Cardio Partners, a Sarnova company.

Summary:

This is a Full-Time entry level position for an Electronic Equipment Support Technician just starting their career. The Electronic Support Technician will perform preventative maintenance and repair of medical equipment. Primary duties will include Preventative Maintenance (PM) inspections and Electrical Safety Testing (EST) of medical equipment and electronic devices. The Electronic Technician will be responsible for conducting incoming inspections, creating work order request, completing basic repairs, and ensuring that all work is documented within Sarnova policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate proper methods and techniques of installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and basic repair of medical equipment.
• Perform manufacturer-mandated equipment modifications and repair and satisfactorily complete the required paperwork.
• Be able to perform system service diagnostics on applicable products.
• Maintains a good personal relationship with fellow co-workers and vendors
• Demonstrate a working knowledge/understanding of required electronic test equipment and electronics in order to assess and repair the device.
• Interpret and effectively utilize service manuals, schematics and other applicable service information required to perform and document preventive maintenance.

Skills/Experience Required:

• A.A.S. Degree or Certification preferred but not required.
• Possesses a basic understanding of electronic devices and principals, as well as a basic knowledge of testing equipment and simulators. This experience can come from schooling, trade-school or hands on work experience.
• Experience with routine service and repair of a variety of electronic equipment desired.
• Mechanically inclined technical skills and curiosity to understand how devices work.
• Attention to Detail; Taking responsibility for a thorough and detail method of working.
