Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a Configuration Manager to work in Warner Robins, GA supporting Special Projects engineering and technical services in the C2ISR Division (HBG).This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the TACMOR Network Services program install a critical infrastructure and network with operations located worldwide. In this mission we provide technical system integrity and information assurance services to customers CONUS and OCONUS in support of network and information security systems for multiple closed user groups. We maintain and enhance the information systems and networks for the Specialized Management Branch that are already fielded and currently in use. We provide a broad range of technical support to provide system enhancements, software installation, integration, testing, and deployment.

This position will support a telework friendly schedule, but we need someone local to Warner Robins.

Primary Responsibilities

You will provide configuration and data management leadership during all phases of the program: requirements, design, build, test, and maintenance and operations. You will manage the configuration items for the program, including hardware and software CIs, you will establish and maintain a CM process that includes CABs and CCBs, and be responsible for configuration control of all program documentation. Additionally, you will establish and manage shared folders, SharePoint libraries, Teams folders, maintain configuration control of all documents, ensure CDRLs and work products are tracked and delivered on time. You will provide leadership, guidance and oversight to other configuration managers on the team. You will be responsible for scheduling configuration control boards and change advisory boards, working with IPT members to ensure entrance criteria is met, recording decisions and action items, and monitoring packages to acceptance and closure. You will create and maintain parts lists and inventory lists, establish configuration items for the TACMOR network, and develop a configuration management plan. This position will also be responsible for development of our program collaboration space using Confluence and establishing a ticketing system in Jira for the management of our work products and tasks. You will establish Agile Boards and be responsible for keeping the information and data current. You will run configuration audits and produce status accounting audits.

Basic Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience, or 12 years of experience without a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.
  • Experience with DoD configuration management policies and processes.
  • Experience with configuration management for a major weapon system.
  • Ability to develop technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution.
  • Capability to develop solutions to technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex system problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.
  • Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to travel when needed by the program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Knowledge of Confluence and Jira.
  • Experience using agile methodologies.

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
