Come Grow With Us! We are hiring a Crop Insurance Services Specialist to join our Team!





The Specialist will support all Crop insurance agents as necessary, licensed to sign and submit policies, renewals, claims, production or acreage reports to the appropriate underwriter. Maintain spreadsheet documentation for the Association by Agency, Customer, Crop type, Level of Coverage and Commissions earned.



Responsibilities include:



* Provides technical and hands-on support to the agents with regards to completing policies and claims per insurance company's requirements including data entry.

* Assesses all forms submitted to the underwriter for quality control.

* Contacts customers for support documents and clarifications and is able to sign off on any changes made to the original document as necessary and appropriate.

* Maintains and provides management with reports that assess the progress with agency growth, referral program compliance, income generated per crop, per customer, and patronage payable.

* Coordinates Assignments of Indemnity to insure loan requirements for assignment or proof of insurance are met.

* Provides instructions to the Bank personnel on issues related to crop insurance compliance and coverage as well as interpreting coverage from other carriers.

* Monitors customer's m embership status with the Association for participating in the patronage program and 1099 reporting.

* Produces and assembles renewal packets for each crop sales closing date to insure uniformity and compliance.

* Monitors, compiles and disseminates statistical data and RMA changes as necessary for risk management analysis.

* Participates in all Crop Insurance Training pertaining to the various crops in our territory.

* Monitors the activities of the approved insurance companies represented by Farm Credit of Florida.

* Monitors and maintains Florida agency licenses of FCF, out of state agency licenses, and appoints 4-30 Crop Hail licensees.

* Attends related civic and industry activities for marketing purposes.

* Maintains Property & Casualty (FL220) License also knows as General Lines License



Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience: Minimum of four years related work experience or combined equivalent with Associate's degree.
