We are currently seeking a Temporary Expediter to join our Quality Inspection team. This role does not require prior experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Inspection as extensive training will be provided. The primary responsibility of the Expediter is to facilitate the movement of parts to and from inspectors while ensuring expedites are managed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: * Arrange inspection queues to prioritize work orders effectively. * Learn and apply predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications for in-process and completed inspection of various products, including machined parts, mechanical assemblies, processed parts, and purchased standard hardware. * Perform verifications of part identification and configurations. * Identify and segregate non-conforming products using basic knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods per ASME 14.5. * Utilize common inspection measuring equipment such as surface plates, micrometers, height gages, radius gages, protractors, profilometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators as required to complete assignments. * Demonstrate proficiency in blueprint reading and basic math skills. * Utilize basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office, and learn to use MRP or ERP systems after receiving instruction.
Requirements: * 0-1 year of experience in a related field (preferred but not required). * Ability to work under direct supervision and follow instructions closely. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes.
Pay Range:
$20-22 per hour
