Job DescriptionPosition Description: Trailer Mechanic / Technician - Wreck Builder - Welder - Complete Trailer TechGreat opportunity to start your career! WE'LL BUY YOU THE TOOLS YOU NEED!Utility Trailer Sales of Kansas City is seeking qualified technicians and entry-level technicians to work in our 18-bay shop in Kansas City, KS. We are the dealer for Utility Trailers, Clement Trailers, and Trailstar; while also performing complete repairs on dry van trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and end dump trailers.Utility Trailer Sales of Kansas City is locally owned and operated by Kansas City Peterbilt. Experienced applicants must be capable of making quality repairs to the suspension, lighting /electrical system, air brake and ABS systems, steel and aluminum welding, and trailer body/structure and doors. The applicant must also possess the skills to perform accurate and complete preventive maintenance inspections, PMs, and annual DOT inspections. Training is available on specific air and electronic systems.Starting pay for qualified technicians starts at $25 per hour.Starting pay for entry or apprentice-level technicians starts at $20 per hour.
