Research Technologist Johns Hopkins University The Infectious Diseases division is seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a Research Technologist . Operate basic laboratory equipment such as centrifuge, pH meter, analytical balance, spectrophotometer, light microscope, and/or utilize laminar flow hood. May also utilize sophisticated instrumentation such as thermal cycler, pipettes and spectrophotometer. Operate lab computers for data entry. Maintain accurate data records. Maintain and make minor adjustments to equipment, e.g. calibrating, alignment. Prepare solutions, reagents, and stains following standard laboratory formulas and procedures. Monitor inventory levels. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field Some related post-undergraduate work experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications Basic Microsoft Office experience helpful. Some laboratory experience preferred.
