Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Regional Support Technician to join our team. This role involves traveling, performing essential robotic system maintenance, and providing technical support. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. This is our highest Field Service Technician role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive and emergency repairs on robotic systems, ensuring they operate efficiently.
• Act as a technical support resource for less experienced team members in your area.
• Deliver comprehensive technical training to enhance the skills of your colleagues.
• Emphasize safety in all aspects of your work, both on-site and in-house.
• Maintain equipment and manage spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to coordinate service support efforts.
• Foster a positive work environment and teamwork.

Experienced with: Electrical, Mechanical, robotics, controllers, preventative maintenance of robots/controllers, and related equipment, phone support and troubleshooting repairs, customer relationships skills, ability to fill out service trip reports, put together spare part orders, to resolve safety and service related issues whether verbally or written, etc.

This role is 100% travel regionally around the Chicago area. This is NOT entry level. The service team is divided in 5 groups and rotates being on call every 5th weekend

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Associates Degree (AA) and a minimum of six years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Must be willing to travel and possess a valid driver's license and full coverage automobile insurance.
• Have strong Mechanical, Electrical and Robotic troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experienced customer service skills
• Open to 100% travel

Excellent well known company. Been a client for many years.

This position has others in this role and everyone makes well over $100K with OT. They are targeting $83K as the midpoint (but the role is hourly so $39-40 an hour)
