Production Technician

Alumalloy Metalcasting Co. is hiring 15 Full Time Production Technicians at 33665 Walker Road, OH 44012, Lorain CO.

Duties: Set up, operate, or tend metal molding, casting, or coremaking machines to mold or cast metal parts or products; Measure and visually inspect products for defects, observe continuous operation of automatic machines; Turn valves/dials of machines; Read specifications, blueprints, and work orders; Remove parts/products from machines/molds; Perform maintenance work; Smooth/ clean surfaces of molds; Cool products after processing; Install dies onto machines; Unload, pack, and move finished products; Install blades, tools, or other attachments; Repair/ replace damaged equipment; Inventory quantities of materials/finished products; Adjust holding fixtures; Secure workpieces on machines; Mix, measure, weigh compounds to dump into machine; Spray, smoke, or coat molds with compounds; Preheat tools, dies, plastic materials, or patterns; Pour materials into melting pots, furnaces, molds, or hoppers; Clamp metal/plywood strips to form molds; Pull level/latches to fill molds; Skim/pour dross, slag, or impurities from molten metal; and shape molds to specified contours. Noise and hot temp environment. Must wear protective/safety equipment. Attn to detail, thorough in completing tasks, cooperative/responsible required. Must balance, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, lift 50 lbs. Entry level; No education/work experience required. 40 hours/week. Monday-Friday. 7:00 AM-4:00 PM. $14.37/hour. weekly.
